Egyptian Stone Finish
Acid
Description & Process
Acid Finish, also known as Acid Washed Stone Finish or Acid Etched Marble, is a refined surface treatment that creates a smooth matte appearance with improved traction while preserving the natural beauty of the stone. The finish is produced by applying a carefully controlled acid treatment to the stone surface, gently reacting with the outer mineral layer to reduce gloss and create a subtle micro-texture.
Unlike highly reflective polished surfaces, acid finish marble delivers a contemporary architectural appearance with lower light reflection and a more natural feel. This finish enhances the authentic character of Egyptian marble by revealing soft color variations, natural veining, and the stone's unique geological texture without creating an artificial look.
At Majestic Stones, we manufacture acid wash Egyptian marble for architects, contractors, stone distributors, and international importers looking for premium natural stone finishes suitable for hospitality projects, luxury residences, commercial developments, and bespoke architectural applications. The finish is available on selected marble tiles, cut-to-size stone, and custom project orders for worldwide export.
